DCSD High schools use Canvas, an integrated Learning Management System (LMS) for course management, online learning, and systemwide communication. Canvas enables students, parents, and teachers to engage with learning materials and their school community in a variety of ways to support both in-person and virtual instruction. With Canvas, students can participate in interactive discussions, digitally submit assignments, complete online assessments, receive announcements and feedback, and more.
As a parent, you will be able to view your child's activity within the platform. Student progress and activity will be monitored by faculty to ensure a safe, secure, and controlled environment. We value your participation in your child's education, and we encourage you to create a Canvas Parent account.
