Appropriate clothing is an important factor in maintaining the dignity of the ceremony.  Inappropriate dress may jeopardize your participation in the ceremony.  

Seniors should not wear:

  • Inappropriate clothing such as tennis shoes, flip flops, shorts, muscle shirts, t-shirts, etc.  

Ladies should wear: 

  • dresses 
  • dress pants 
  • low-heeled shoes.  

Gentlemen should wear: 

  • dress slacks 
  • dress shoes


In order to preserve the dignity of your Graduation Ceremony, please do not bring purses, bags, hats, cell phone or other electronic items, food or drink (water will be provided), beach balls, noise makers, or any other items that will distract from the dignity of this once in a lifetime event.  Seminar teachers and administration will confiscate items that may potentially cause disruption. Failure to comply with expectations may warrant your removal from the ceremony.
